Już jakiś czas temu miałem okazję robić magnesy na lodówkę właśnie z motywem tych kurczaków. Teraz mam je wykonać ponownie więc przy okazji pomyślałem sobie że zrobię tutorial jak je wykonać samodzielnie.
Monkey Island series is the best adventure game I had the opportunity to play. In the third part "Curse of the Monkey Island" Guybrush lands on an island named Plunder where he finds some Feral Chicken.
Some time back I had the opportunity to make fridge magnets that looked like those chicken. Now I'm about to make some more of them and I thought that I can make a tutorial showing how to make them by yourself.
Do wykonania kurczaków będziemy potrzebowali:
Narzędzia:
- Piła włosowa (w moim przypadku Proxxon DSH)
- Pistolet na klej termopotliwy
- Drewno (w moim przypadku sklejka dębowa)
- Szara farba na podkład (w moim przypadku spray Montana kolor Mouse)
- Farby o kolorach: (w moim przypadku używam farb Revell)
- Biały (Revell numer 301)
- Czerwony (Revell numer 330)
- Czarny (Revell numer 8)
- Magnes
- Klej biurowy
- Klej termopotliwy w sztyfcie do pistoletu
- Taśma malarska
- Papier ścierny
What you will need:
Tools:
- Scroll saw (in my case Proxxon DSH)
- Hot glue gun
Materials:
- Wood (in my case it was oak plywood)
- Grey undercoad paint (in my case it was Montana spray, color Mouse)
- Paints: (in my case it was Revell paints)
- White (Revell number 301)
- Red (Revell number 330)
- Black (Revell number 8)
- Magnet
- Glue stick
- Hot-melt adhesive for glue gun
- Masking tape
- Sandpaper
Tak jak w każdym projekcie w którym używam piły włosowej jest kilka kroków które zawsze powtarzam.
Like in every project that I use a scroll saw there are few steps that I always make.
Krok 1:
Drukujemy wzór (wzór do pobrania tutaj) oraz docinamy pod wymiar wzoru potrzebne drewno.
Step 1:
Print the pattern (download the pattern here) and cut the wood to the size of the pattern.
Krok 2:
Bierzemy dwa kawałki drewna, składamy jak kanapkę i owijamy taśmą malarską.
Step 2:
Take two pieces of wood, place one on another like a sandwich and wrap it around with the masking tape.
Krok 3:
Smarujemy górną część "kanapki" klejem biurowym i naklejamy wzór.
Step 3:
Spread stick glue on the upper side of the stack and place the pattern on it.
Krok 4:
Wycinamy wzór.
Step 4:
Cut the pattern.
Krok 5:
Zdejmujemy taśmę malarską i usuwamy papierem ściernym zadziory powstałe w wyniku wycinania.
Step 5:
Peel off the masking tape and sand the burrs made in the process of cutting.
Krok 6:
Kładziemy kurczaki na kawałku deski i malujemy szarym podkładem.
Step 6:
Place the chicken on a piece of wood and paint them with grey undercoat.
Krok 7:
Jak tylko wyschnie farba szkicujemy ołówkiem wzór do malowania.
Step 7:
Sketch the pattern with a pencil.
Krok 8:
Zaczynamy od malowania oczu a następnie grzebień i dziób.
Step 8:
Start with painting the eyes, then comb and the beak.
Używając permanentnego markera o grubej końcówce malujemy zewnętrzne kontury. Markerem o cienkiej końcówce poprawiamy tam gdzie nie udało się dotrzeć grubym a następnie wykańczamy wszelkie linie wewnątrz wzoru.
Step 9:
Using a permanent marker with a large tip paint the contours. Next using a fine tip market correct the places that you were unable to get with the first marker and finish all of the lines inside the pattern.
Krok 10:
Tylną część można pomalować na czarno. Jak wyschnie farba nakładamy gorący klej i przyklejamy magnes.
Step 10:
Back side can be painted black but this is only an option. When the paint dries up lay the hot glue and place the magnet.
